It’s my second most favourite manga forever everywhere. And I miss this post. I suck.

I’ve long wanted to say something about it somewhere, but I never figured out what to say about Hosi no Samidare it does not tell far better itself.

I’d recommend Mizukami’s two other works – Psycho Staff and Sengoku Youko. Not as great, but both are damn well told and generally amazing. Mizukami has a taste for very off-hand takes on very classic and cliché matters, as here, where the heroic speech is about survival rather than anything else.
