She seems like a reaction to moe, an example of moe taken way too far. Her “moe” is just ridiculous, and nobody in the show really admires her for it, if I remember correctly. I think that’s part of why I thought she was hilarious though. I have a high tolerance for moe anyway.

I like how, compared to the typical “I’m only 40 years old and single” teacher archetype. Yoshinoya savors her childishness…but I think her overflowing moe(?) is taken a bit too far for my tastes, even if it is hyperbolic meta-satire.

Though the short where she ran around the school during break hiding from the principal was excellent.

Yeah, Shakespeare, and just the situation in general. It would have been a better play, maybe, if Brutus had been goofy in a Hidamari way. There should have been a bathhouse scene with Brutus and Cassius.

I was a little surprised that the scene I found funniest in Hidamari Sketch didn’t even involve Yoshinoya.
